A Message from Dr. Codjoe
WE ARE EACH DIFFERENT, NOT ONLY IN ANATOMICAL STRUCTURE, BUT IN HOW WE APPROACH LIFE – TAKING CARE OF OUR FAMILIES, PURSUING WORK, AND PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS, HOBBIES, AND MEANINGFUL ACTIVITIES.
Treatment plans, therefore, should take into consideration all aspects of the entire person. And to do that effectively, I must listen first.
Listening is the essential element to understanding. Listening first ensures that my practice is a good fit for each patient who seeks care from me. Listening to – and advocating for – patients is also important when it is in the individual’s best interest to make a referral or to collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Another important aspect of my treatment philosophy is my focus on using conservative measures whenever possible. Selecting minimally invasive joint reconstructive procedures generally provide for shorter hospitals stays with less pain and complications. However, some conditions or injuries may require a more aggressive approach, and those decisions are made only after thorough consultations and consideration of all factors and potential outcomes.
Dr. Paul Codjoe is a proud member of the Mercer Bucks Orthopedics team.
